Join Maphis Nursery & Tree Farm on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for their Old-Fashioned Cane Syrup Making Day. This is a free event for the whole family. Watch the process of making cane syrup from beginning to end, from grinding the fresh-cut cane to cooking it down in the vat to taste-testing! The workshop and gift shop will be open to purchase farm-fresh products such as grits, cornmeal, jellies, jams, honey, and, of course, cane syrup.
Maphis Nursery & Tree Farm is located at 1534 Orange Hill Road in Chipley.
